This Privacy Policy explains how DecompAI collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the DecompAI mobile application, website, and related services.

DecompAI is a personal goal tracking and reflection app. It helps you record goals, daily reports, tasks, progress signals, and AI-generated summaries.

You may provide goals, goal descriptions, metrics, daily reports, task descriptions, progress notes, language preferences, and support messages.

The content you enter may include personal information if you choose to write it. Please avoid entering sensitive information that is not needed for goal tracking.

DecompAI may store app content on your device using local storage. If iCloud or CloudKit sync is enabled for the app or your device, some app data may sync through Apple's services under your Apple account.

We may process technical data such as device type, app version, operating system version, approximate country derived from IP address, security checks, error information, and usage counters needed to operate the service.

When you request an AI analysis, the app sends the relevant daily report, goal context, and recent progress context to secure cloud functions so the analysis can be generated.

Depending on region and availability, DecompAI may use AI providers such as OpenAI or Yandex Cloud to generate task extraction, goal impact analysis, recommendations, and longer-term insights.

AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. You should review AI-generated summaries before relying on them.

We use information to provide daily analysis, generate goal summaries, maintain analysis limits, improve app reliability, protect the service from abuse, respond to support requests, and develop DecompAI features.

We do not sell your personal information.

DecompAI may use Apple services, Firebase and Google Cloud services, OpenAI, Yandex Cloud, and other infrastructure providers to operate the app.

These providers process data on our behalf or under their own terms where applicable. Their processing may occur in countries other than your country of residence.

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, remove the app, or delete related synced data from your account where applicable.

Cloud metadata such as analysis usage counters, security logs, and operational logs may be retained for as long as needed to provide, protect, debug, and improve the service.

You can delete app data through available in-app data actions, by deleting the app from your device, and by managing iCloud data through Apple settings where applicable.

You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information that DecompAI controls. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including platform security features, Firebase App Check, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

DecompAI is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to DecompAI, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

We may update this Privacy Policy as DecompAI evolves. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
